She suggested great locations and timing that worked perfectly for our family, which made the whole experience easy and stress-free. Anyone who has taken photos with young kids knows it can be unpredictable, but Joyce was amazing with our children. She quickly warmed up to them and gave fun prompts that helped capture natural, candid moments instead of stiff poses. She was incredibly patient and we never felt rushed during the session. We even walked to a second location for more photos, and the whole experience felt like a relaxed stroll around Tokyo with a new friend. The photos turned out beautiful and we’re so grateful for the memories she captured. We’ll absolutely book Joyce again the next time we visit Tokyo. She took the time to work with us including our 8 month old son (but he absolutely loved her and the camera, so it did not take too much convincing). She also assisted us with poses and locations, as well as adapting to us and our dynamic. I really appreciate Joyce’s help in capturing memories of our son’s first international trip - these will be memories we hold in our hearts forever. She was incredibly patient with our two boys (ages 4 and 1) and made sure they were comfortable and having fun the entire time. My children who have been so difficult at previous photo shoots were having the one of their lives with Joyce, she knows how to get them invested in taking good photos. Our photos are wonderful.
